FractionCalc 1.3.6 by Travis East

FractionCalc came about as a direct result of my work on the software program Geometry 2.4.1. I needed to develop an algorithm for reducing a fraction for the slope formula. In the process of looking for software programs that perhaps had a faster calculation time, I found that there did not exist a freeware fraction calculator. To remedy this void, I came up with a stand alone application that will add, subtract, multiply, and divide standard fractions, improper fractions and mixed numbers. The software will reduce fractions with values up to 1000. And there you have the basic story. I hope you enjoy the software. Since this is the first release, there is room for problems or errors. If you find any problems with the software, please contact me at teast@mac.com.

As with all software developed for free, I cannot be held responsible if this program crashes your machine. You are using FractionCalc at your own risk. However, if the program does crash your system, I would be interested in knowing. You will get a bit of sympathy but that is all.

Having said that, enjoy.

Thanks,

Travis East
